Each residential student will receive a total of 3,210 points during the academic year. Each point represents a dollar in purchasing power at any of our food service venues.
Each week 70 points will be added to a residential student ID card. The weekly points can only be used during the week that they are added to the ID card.
An additional 900 non-refundable flexible points are also added to your ID card. 450 points will be added to your account in the beginning of Fall Semester and an additional 450 points will be added again at the beginning of Spring semester. Any non-refundable flexible points remaining at the end of Fall semester will be added to your spring semester non-refundable flexible point total at the beginning of Spring semester.
Listed below are two examples that explain the board plan:
- Student A purchases 80 points of campus food during the first week on campus. At the end of the week, this student will have spent their 70 weekly points and 10 of their fall semester flexible points. They start the second week with 70 new weekly points and 440 flexible points.
- Student B purchases 65 points of campus food during the first week on campus. At the beginning of the second week, this student will receive 70 new weekly points, and they will still have 450 flexible points that can be used at any time during the year.
Under this plan, students will be able to buy additional flexible points during the academic year. Additional points can be purchased in blocks of 50 (at a cost of $50) and will be refunded at the end of the academic year if unused.
Premium Plan--This plan is the same as the standard plan except Students will have 90 points per week and 1000 flexible points per year, this plan offers 3,970 flexible points per academic year.
These plans are for commuters who would like to dine on campus using their ID card. Plan A can be purchased in a 1,900 point block, Plan B can be purchased in a 950 point block, or commuters can purchase points in smaller increments. Commuters will not have to worry about carrying cash and receive discounts at all dining locations.

Lost Meal Card Information
Lost your meal card? In case of a missing ID card please go to the Office of Student Life for a replacement card. No one will be admitted to the Food Commons nor will you be allowed to purchase meals without your ID card.
